Although Fort Tryon Park is home to The Cloisters, visitors to this soaring, wooded site in upper Manhattan dared not venture beyond the walls of the museum until recently. To make this gorgeous park more accessible to neighborhood residents and visitors, NYRP's AmeriCorps crew and field staff cleared away years of garbage and invasive vegetation.
