The first Build-A-Bear Workshop store opened in Saint Louis Galleria in the fall of 1997 to a resounding success. There are over 170 stores worldwide, including Canada, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Australia and the United Kingdom. Build-A-Bear Workshop is establishing a global brand, with franchise plans across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
