T.Carlton's began as an idea of Thomas and Christine Carlton in 1992. Thomas was on the verge off quitting the industry all together. He had difficulty finding a company to work for that took the profession and the clients as seriously as he did. He was going out to buy a suit and tie, as wife Christine tried to not let that happen. They instead started their search for a perfect little 5 station salon. From there, T.Carlton's has gradually developed into a 65 employee, 32 design station, a full service day spa, and a line of haircare products within their 6000sq. ft of retail space.

Lorraine Massey, was born in Leichester, England, and started cutting hair in a local salon at age 13. "I went to the salon every day after school, and as often as I could on weekends.
