Bayshore Shopping Centre opened in 1973. It is located in the western portion of Ottawa and enjoys a highly visible and accessible location on the north side of Highway 417, near the Highway 416 junction. Bayshore totals 728,047 square feet and includes 155 stores and services. The centre's anchor stores includes a mix of traditional operators such as The Bay and Zellers as well as several new format retailers including Winners, Old Navy and Sports Experts. Its fashion and lifestyle merchant mix attracts more than 7.1 million people annually.

Dakota Square Mall is an enclosed shopping center in the city of Minot, North Dakota. The largest mall within 170 km, it includes four major anchor stores, over 70 smaller stores, a food court, and a nine-screen Carmike Cinema with stadium seating. It also includes local recruiting offices for the United States military.
One unusual feature of the mall is a Sleep Inn & Suites, which is directly attached to the mall itself. The hotel also features Splashdown Dakota Super Slides, a 24,000 square foot water park complex. Dakota Square is one of only a few shopping malls in the United States to feature an attached hotel. The Manhattan Mall, one of the few traditional indoor malls in New York City, is located at 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue. There are entrances to the 34th Street-Herald Square subway station and the 33rd Street PATH station on the second basement level.
The mall is located in the high-rise building formerly used by the Gimbels flagship store, which closed in 1986. On April 18, 2007, JCPenney announced that it would open a 150,000 square foot store at the mall, its first in Manhattan. Hamilton Place is an enclosed, two-story shopping mall in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was the largest shopping mall in the state of Tennessee when it opened in 1987. The original anchors were Belk, Hess's, Parisian, Proffitt's, Regal Cinemas and Sears. A JCPenney store was added later. Currently, Hamilton Place comprises more than 150 stores and restaurants. Current anchor stores include JCPenney, Sears, as well as two locations each for Belk and Dillard's. Regal Cinemas closed in late 2007 and will be replaced with a Barnes and Noble that will open in fall 2008. Hamilton Place Mall has also announced a $100 million expansion which will include two parking garages, a lifestyle center, and other renovations inside and outside the existing mall. To pay for the expansion, CBL proposes an additional half-percent to 1 percent fee added to any purchase made at the mall or at five other CBL centers within a one-mile radius of Hamilton Place, company officials said. The other locations are Gunbarrel Pointe, Hamilton Corner, Hamilton Crossing, The Shoppes at Hamilton Place and The Terrace. Source

As part of Park Royal's recent brand re-positioning into five star shopping, in April 2006, it re-opened its newly designed re-located food fair. It still contains its original bowling alley, as well as the city's largest movie theatre complex, the Famous Players Scotiabank Theatre Chinook formerly the Paramount, with 16 screens and an IMAX. Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre is a shopping mall in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Located in the neighbourhood of Bonnie Doon, it is a medium sized mall and houses only an estimated 100 stores on one floor. The mall was originally an exposed shopping centre when constructed about 1960, however it was enclosed and a large Sears store added in 1967.
