"We fly two flights a day, weather permitting. These flights are at sunrise and approximately two hours before sunset. This is when the winds are the calmest. Your balloon adventure will last around 2 1/2 hours with an actual flight duration of about 45 minutes to one hour. Following the flight there is a traditional champagne and hors d'oeuvres reception. Non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Reservations are required as space is very limited!! We can carry four and six people respectively plus the pilot in each balloon. Weekends tend to fill up quicker than weekdays but usually space is available a week in advance."

The Pineapple Express train tour is a two-mile, 20 minute train ride that is fun and exciting for everyone. It is a fully narrated train tour, educational and very informative. Along the route, you'll learn about the history of the pineapple, the agriculture in Hawaii and hear the story of James Dole, who pioneered the pineapple industry in Hawaii. Because Kansas residents often feel that people from Johnson County know nothing about the rest of the state, the trip is intended to help JCCC faculty and staff better understand the state in which they live or work.
